The Spark Plug creates a spark of lighting in the combustion chamber in order to ignite the engine. It also functions as a tool to transmit heat out from the combustion chamber into the water jacket of the cylinder head.

Another common sign of a blown Spark Plug is a misfire. If fired at the wrong moment, the force from the Piston will not work properly with the combustion and will produce a rattling, knocking sound, or even a bang. You will also feel that the car’s performance has reduced compared to usual.
